Save and Reuse Your Artwork
Ordering a printed product again should be quick and straightforward.
When you have previously ordered a printed product from Intaprint, you can save the design from that order to your customer account and reuse it later through My Artwork.
This is particularly useful for:
- regular repeat orders;
- amended designs;
- text-only products;
- products that use the same supported artwork size.
Your saved design may include:
- your original uploaded artwork;
- the approved PDF associated with the design;
- the product options and information from the original order.
How to save your artwork
After placing a printed order:
- Sign in to your Intaprint account.
- Open the relevant order.
- Select Save artwork beside the printed product.
- Give the artwork a helpful name.
- The design will then appear under My Account → My Artwork.
You can save a design after the approved PDF has been linked to that product in your order.
This works whether you originally uploaded an artwork file or whether your design was created from text and instructions supplied during ordering.

Your repeat-order options
Place an exact repeat order
Choose Place an exact repeat order when you want the same design produced again on the same product with no artwork changes.
The previously approved PDF and the original product specification are used to prepare the repeat order. This may include the wording, font, colours, print position, layout instructions, assembly choice and other product-specific selections.
These details are restored and locked so that the order matches the previous design.
We will still send you an artwork proof to approve before production.
This gives you a final opportunity to check that:
- the correct saved design has been selected;
- the wording and details are still correct;
- the product options match what you expect;
- no changes are required.
You can still choose the new quantity and select an available production speed.
An exact repeat should only be selected when the design and product specification are unchanged.
Text-only designs and approved PDFs
You do not need to have uploaded an artwork file to use My Artwork.
Some products can be ordered using text and instructions only. For example, you may provide:
- names or contact details;
- wording to be printed;
- a font selection;
- text colours;
- placement or layout preferences.
Intaprint will use that information to create an artwork proof for approval.
Once the PDF proof has been approved, you can save the design from your order even though no original artwork file was uploaded.
To place an exact repeat:
- Open the previous order in your customer account.
- Select Save artwork beside the product.
- Open My Account → My Artwork.
- Review the approved PDF.
- Select Place an exact repeat order.
The approved PDF and the previous product specification will be reused and locked.
This means you will not need to enter the wording, font, colours or other design information again.
You can still choose:
- the new order quantity;
- Standard or Express Production where available;
- the shipping method during checkout.
When a saved design was created from text or instructions and has no original uploaded artwork, only the exact-repeat option will be available.
To make changes to a text-only design, place a new order and provide the revised text or instructions so that a new proof can be created.
Use on the same product and make changes
Choose Use on same product & make changes when you want to order the same product but need an alteration to the artwork.
This option is available where an original uploaded artwork file was saved with the order.
Your original uploaded artwork is reused as the starting point. You can then select the product options again and provide any new text, preferences or instructions.
A new proof will be created for approval before production.
This option is suitable for changes such as:
- replacing a photo;
- updating names, dates or contact details;
- changing wording;
- adjusting colours;
- requesting a revised layout.
The previously approved PDF is not treated as the final artwork when changes are requested.
Use on another compatible product
Some products support exactly the same photo or insert size.
Choose Use on another compatible product to see other printed products whose Photo Size Supported value matches the original product.
Only compatible products are displayed.
Your original uploaded artwork is transferred to the selected product as a starting point. The previous product options and approved PDF are not carried over, and a new proof will be created.
This option may be useful when the same correctly sized design can be used across different products that accept the same insert dimensions.
This option requires an original uploaded artwork file. It is not available for text-only saved designs that contain only an approved PDF.
Why only compatible products are shown
Artwork created for one size cannot always be safely reused at another size.
A JPG, PDF or other finished design may already include:
- the correct dimensions;
- the correct proportions;
- bleed around the edges;
- text positioned within a safe area;
- a resolution suitable for that specific product.
Changing it to a different size or shape could cause:
- stretching;
- cropping;
- missing bleed;
- incorrectly positioned text;
- reduced image quality.
For this reason, Use on another compatible product only displays products with a matching Photo Size Supported value.
Products with a different size, shape or proportion are not shown.
What happens to your files?
The file used depends on the option selected.
Exact repeat order
The previously approved PDF is used to prepare the repeat order.
The previous product specification is restored and locked, and a proof is then sent for approval before production.
Same product with changes
The original uploaded artwork is reused as a starting point.
You select the product options again, provide any revised instructions and receive a new proof.
Another compatible product
The original uploaded artwork is transferred to a compatible product.
The selected product uses its own options, and a new proof is created.
Text-only exact repeat
The approved PDF is used even though no original artwork file was uploaded.
The previous wording, font, colours and other recorded product selections are restored and locked.
You can still upload completely new artwork or provide new text at any time by placing a new order instead of using a saved design.
Proof approval
Where a new proof is required, we will prepare it using the artwork, text and instructions supplied with your new order.
Please check the proof carefully before approving it, including:
- spelling;
- names and dates;
- telephone numbers and website addresses;
- colours;
- image placement;
- text placement;
- orientation;
- product shape and dimensions.
Production will begin after the required artwork has been approved.
For an exact repeat, the previously approved PDF is used as the starting point, but a proof will still be sent for approval before production.
Important information
Saved artwork is intended to make repeat ordering easier, but it remains your responsibility to choose the correct saved design and review the approved PDF before ordering.
An exact repeat should only be selected when no changes are required.
The product specification shown on the exact-repeat page will be locked. To make a change, do not place the exact-repeat order.
Where artwork has been changed or moved to another compatible product, a new proof will be created.
Text-only designs can be saved for exact repeats once an approved PDF is available, but they cannot be transferred to another product as original uploaded artwork.
Artwork cannot be automatically reused on products with a different supported size or shape.
